filled with atmosphere. We serve to the customers of Savonlinna Hall during the concert intervals and provide a setting for different celebrations all year round.
Savonlinna's Onnellisten saaret, "Islands of the Fortunate", as they were and still are called, were a hot spot of international spa culture and social life in the turn of the 18th
century. The Olavin Kylpylaitos spa with gothic-style towers and the Casino with beautiful verandas were built on Kasinosaari island in the middle of the town in 1896. Two years
later, a magnificent ball room seating 500 people was built next to Kasino. With the help of its masters of ceremony it became the cultural centre of the entire region until a fire
ruined the building in 1928. The original Kasino, that was saved in the fire has continued to be a meeting point for spa guests and the locals for decades after.
In 2002 the conference and concert venue Savonlinna Hall was opened next to Wanha Kasino. Its historically valuable and attractive setting provides their customers many
opportunities for development and building of future success.
